Your best and worst ever Film/Movie....
To compliment the best/worst TV programme thread I thought I would put this question forward, although it may well have been done before!

Was one of three for me as the best. Back to the Future and JAWS share second place with Hitchcock's Rear Window still my favourite film of all time. The worst by far has to be a god awful effort called Movie 43. So bad I didn't even finish it. So many stars in it though so they either got paid a fortune or had no idea what dross they had agreed to.

The "worst" film I've seen is Samurai Cop starring Sylvester Stallone's stunt double.

It's so bad, that it makes it one of the best films I've ever watched.

Here's the trailer:

Best - Bladerunner

Worst - Far too many shit films, most of which I've probably forgotten. However Johnny Mnemonic sticks in the mind, purely because it cost me £35 for an illegal US imported Laserdisc.

I love Samurai Cop

"What does "katana" mean?"
"It means "Japanese sword"

If you haven't yet, check out Hollywood Cop, also by Amir Shervan. Almost that level of bad and has one my favourite B-movie actors - Cameron Mitchell. Killing American Style and Young Rebels are bad but not nearly as funny and just feel a bit gross. I have not got to his Gypsy yet.

Robert Z'dar from Samurai Cop is also (just barely) in another of my favourite bad movies: Future War - where dinosaurs from the future track humans through mazes of cardboard boxes.

(Matt Hannon/Mathew Karedas was a body guard to Stallone, never made it to screen before American Revenge)

Speaking of Stallone - Frank Stallone, another great bad movie - Terror in Beverly Hills.

One actually best movie is always hard.
Strangelove is up there.

Best - Aliens Special Edition. The extra scenes really flesh out the plot and help with character development.

Worst - Codename Wild Geese. A badly dubbed Italian - German co production, about mercenaries taking on the drugs trade in the golden triangle. Utter dross.

arsene, good call on Ran, I bought the Blu ray version, it's just spectacular although it doesn't have Toshiro Mifune my favourite actor in it but it does have Tatsuya Nakadai who is almost as good.
